What part of preliminary injunction don’t you understand?

Phew, that was a close one! Now that a judge has blocked key parts of Arizona’s Immigration Law, illegal immigrants can continue with their normal lives:

  • Depriving hard-working Americans of back-breaking minimum wage jobs
  • Swamping hospital emergency rooms with injuries caused by back-breaking minimum wage jobs
  • Providing Fox News with scapegoats for everything, from Bill O’Reilly’s hemorrhoids to the rising cost of Hitler/Obama posters
  • Practicing human ladder formations for climbing over border fences
  • Studying at Al-Qaeda (Guadalajara Campus) Online University

Some of my best friends should be deported

Arizona may enact one of the toughest laws in the nation against illegal immigrants. It would, among other things, require police to question people about their immigration status if there is reason to suspect they are illegal.
But it doesn’t stop there. In addition, any person can be arrested for:

  • Resembling Edward James Olmos
  • Correctly pronouncing “salsa”
  • Singing “Quantanamera” while mowing a lawn
  • TiVoing “Lopez Tonight”
  • Knowingly hiring a mariachi band
  • Referring to Sen. John McCain as “antiguo pedo“
